Studying tied to the crafter who made the item is one of the best ideas posted on here. The crafters are the ones FLOODING the market, so it makes sense that the solution should be tied to them. This would remove a large portion of excess items from the Albion Online Silver, reducing flooding significantly, while still giving the crafter the option to sell the item which is less flooded and has a higher value if they need the silver. This will balance the markets, keep gatherers in the loop, use your proposed fix, and best of all NOT cause additional problems.
Also a great idea if you want to reduce the amount of items is to increase the mat need per item and the fame gain per item. We all know that both of the above fixes are simple coding since the base is already in the game. However i think this fix is not needed, I think the crafter linked studying would almost entirely fix your problem. But for gods sake dont let us study 90% of the node, that stupid. make it craft 50% study 50% or something to move on. Immersion or logical purpose Take your pick but neither makes sense to let a crafter craft 10% a study 90% to make a higher quality of item by buy Albion Online Gold. If I want a computer built am I going to go to a guy who has built 1 of the 10 computers in his shop and the 9 others were studied, broken down, and then rebuilt? hell I'm not. I'm going to go to the compuiter store with a reputation for building ALL 10 computers themselves because the chances are those are going to work better. feel free to change the analogy to anything you like, it still makes more sense. so at least make the precraft before you can study 50% of the node.
